Wedding Bells and Stitched Shapes Framelits

Welcome Back

Over the last weekend I was lucky enough to participate in yearly 2 day local market event. I  met some lovely new people and gained some new contacts and customers too. I had a few requests for wedding cards with a natural and also classy feel.

I thought I would enter this card into this weeks Global Design Challenge as the layout fits the one they have.

I chose to use the new *Stitched Shape Framelits* (note at end of blog) for this card to create the background heart behind the Bloomin' Hearts detailed die.
If you look closely you can see that I have layered 2 circles and a square to create the heart shape.

You can see that I chose to emboss my bells in gold.
I also embossed the sentiment too, but first I stamped it in Stazon Black and then roughly sanded the surface to give a tarnished look. I also did that for the inside floral heart design.
The colors of Vanilla, Black, Crumb Cake and Gold combine so well together for that natural yet classy effect that was requested.

I added a Natural Trim (GOLD) piece of ribbon to the bells on the front and around the back of the card, just to add that little extra detail. I could then also add  names or a date to a tag to sit inside, just to personalize this card even more.

**We are happy that the Stitched Shapes Framelits have been so well received. 1. Thank you for your kind words Juana :) I left the inside just a little plainer as the front had so much happening, but I still carried the theme through nicely I thought. I am really enjoying the stitched shapes framelits and am finding them very versatile. The designer acetate is two sided, silver one side and gold he other, it's awesome.
